Scout Family Products ("we," "us," or "our") operates the ShopScout mobile application and the website at scoutfamilyproducts.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. The categories of information we may collect are:

• Search and interaction data. The search terms you enter in our apps, the products you view, and the retailer links you tap. This is used to operate the app and improve results.

Affiliate links and third-party retailers

ShopScout surfaces products from third-party retailers and may include affiliate tracking when you tap a product to view it on the retailer's website or app. When you leave ShopScout to visit a retailer, you are subject to that retailer's own privacy policy and terms.

Affiliate networks we work with may include Amazon Associates, eBay Partner Network, Commission Junction, and others. These networks may receive a record of the click for the purpose of attributing any subsequent purchase. We do not share your personal information with these networks beyond what is required for standard affiliate attribution.

Service providers

We use third-party services to host our backend, deliver the app through the Google Play Store, and send transactional communications. These providers process limited data on our behalf under their own privacy commitments.

Data retention

We retain operational data only as long as necessary to provide and improve the service. Aggregate, non-identifying analytics may be kept longer to inform product decisions.

Children

ShopScout is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can stop providing information to us at any time by uninstalling the app or discontinuing use of the website. If you would like us to delete information we hold about you that is identifiable to you, please email us at the address below.
